About the Farm
Pacific Sun Alpacas is a small farm located just outside Duncan in the Glenora area of the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
The farm is run by Jenny, who has spent more than 30 years building, growing and caring for this special piece of the Cowichan Valley. Over the years, the farm has grown to include alpacas, chickens, gardens, orchards and a variety of locally produced farm products.
Our alpacas are at the heart of the farm. Each has its own personality, and their beautiful fibre is used to produce yarn, rovings and other natural fibre products. Around the farm you'll also find free-range chickens, fruit trees, seasonal flowers and all the everyday activity that comes with life on a working small farm.
Pacific Sun Alpacas is powered entirely by solar energy. Sustainability and making good use of the land and its natural resources are an important part of how the farm operates.
Jenny enjoys sharing the farm with visitors through farm tours, giving people an opportunity to meet the alpacas, explore the farm and experience a little of rural life here in the Cowichan Valley.
